New for 2024, a white slimline cigar shaped reversing camera with a quality lens and image sensor installed.

We used to stock a similar reversing camera many years ago.  When we found this one, which had the higher quality image sensor options available we gladly ordered some.  These were always a popular, easy to fit option for people wanting a small, discreet camera.  The actual camera part itself is only 22mm deep and 18mm in height, it is attached to a bracket that is mostly hidden behind the numberplate itself.  You have the option of using screws to attach this, or my preference is either an adhesive sealant, or some very strong tape such as Scotch Red.

This camera is the latest on the market. One issue with CCD cameras is they need a lot of volume to take the electronics. This means traditionally they were relatively large. The factory that produces this camera is the only factory we would trust to produce this cylindrical style reversing camera. Similar looking cameras are notorious for leaking. The cameras that come from the factory we use just simply don't have this issue. We pay around double the price of other factories similar looking products, but in terms of build quality, reliability, and performance, it is well worth the extra. You get what you pay for.
