Small Bolt Numberplate Reversing Camera with 4-Pin Screw Connector and RCA Output | CAM071PBolt version number plate reverse camera. Simply drill a small hole on the underside of your number plate light trim for the bolt of the camera to fit through, then fasten it to your vehicle with the special split-type nut provided. The result is a very small camera that is hard to see. This camera is made by the same factory that makes our upgraded brake light cameras, using their high-quality PC4089 700TVL sensor and fully glass composite lens combination. Key featuresSubtle/Hidden Reversing Camera for Number Plate - This camera is one of our smallest, hardest to spot reverse cameras, making it ideal for mounting in the number plate area. Check out our photos to see it fitted to one of our customer's vehicles. Great Image Quality - The camera gives great picture quality thanks to its high-resolution modern PC4089 700tvl image sensor and all-glass composite lens. This is the same combination used on our respected brake light reversing cameras. IP68 Waterproof Rating - The ingress protection rating of this camera is IP68. This means it is protected against the very worst weather it will come across. Guideline Function ON/OFF Setting - As standard the camera will output static guidelines to assist with lining up whilst parking. These can be removed using the trigger loop next to the cameras connector. 150 degree Wide Viewing Angle - Very wide angle lens fitted to provide an extra wide viewing angle to assist in looking out for obstacles around the rear of your vehicle. Connector details and power information Connectors Info (RCA and 4 Pin) The camera is supplied with both a 4-pin screw connector and an RCA phono connector. You can choose which to use by changing at the 6.5 mm disconnect point located roughly 60 cm back from the camera. Please note there is also a non-waterproof power regulator at the same distance. This must be positioned in a dry, protected location (for example inside a tailgate) to prevent premature failure. 4-Pin to RCA Adaptor Option Even though this camera is supplied with both connector types as standard, we still offer a discounted 4-pin to RCA adaptor for those who need it. This can be useful in two scenarios: 1) Modern vehicles with CANBUS or pulsed (PWM) reverse feeds Using a 4-pin cable plus this adaptor lets you take camera power from an ignition feed at the front of the vehicle instead of relying on the reverse light feed. You can still connect a simple reverse-light trigger so the monitor or stereo only wakes up when reverse is selected. 2) Viewing the camera even when not in reverse If you want to see the camera on demand (for example while driving forward or towing), the adaptor allows you to power the camera independently and view it without needing to be in reverse gear.
