Adaptors for reversing cameras

We very often get people who have an older system that has unusual connectors that wish to adapt their existing wiring to the industry standard - 4 pin aviation connector.  In the past, our customers used to purchase a 1M cable, which they would cut in half to connect each wire to their existing lead.  We decided to get our cable factory to make us a new 100cm length lead which has been pre-separated out to the individual wires.  

Reversing Camera Adaptor Cable designed to allow a phono/RCA based reversing camera on to a 4 pin aviation connector monitor.

This will convert our 4 pin cameras to a conventional RCA/2.1mm DC connection if you ever change to an RCA input monitor.

This will convert any of our 4 pin reversing cameras to a female Phono/RCA Video signal + 2.1mm/5.5mm DC socket for power (most commonly found on reversing cameras).

This adaptor cable is designed to convert a 4 pin aviation screw connector reversing camera to RCA Phono Connectors + power. This version has both a video signal and Audio connector (should you have a microphone on the camera).

The RV-207 reverse camera is often seen on Swift, Autotrail, and Bessacarr motorhomes.  It is a twin camera system that runs to a Sargent Electrical EM5 series control box.  This bundle is for a compatible driving+reversing camera, plus the adaptor leads to convert it to the 6 pin connector required.  The cameras are fitted with a high spec 1/3" Sony CCD image sensor, one has an 8mm lens to give 45 degrees (the best angle for rear view/always on driving), the other has a wide angle lens for parking.  As our camera uses a 4 pin connector, this bundle includes discounted adaptors, which converts our 4 pin connectors to the same 6 pin connectors required on the original cabling.  We have sold many hundreds of these bundles over the years with total success.

For a number of years we have stocked these adaptors to support customers who have a 6 pin mini din (PS/2) cable in their vehicle.

We have used this adaptor cable to support Swift and Autotrail Motorhome Owners when replacing their original failed factory-installed reversing camera. The adaptor is designed so that one of our 4 pin reversing cameras can be used in the replacement, simply adding this adaptor on to our camera so that it fits the original 6 pin socket on the main extension cable back to the original camera.

If you need to replace a faulty RV77 / CC-47 Reversing Camera, originally fitted to some Swift, Autotrail, or Bessacarr Motorhomes, then this is one of the bundles we have supplied customers with for many years. It is worth mentioning that our reversing camera has slightly different dimensions from the original camera. In this bundle, we will supply an adaptor cable to go from our 4-pin screw connector to the 6-pin PS2 connector that is fitted to the original cable. Our adaptor has been wired up the same way as the original was. The adaptor cable has a trigger wire added; if the original camera had an orange trigger lead connected at the back (to reverse feed), then you will need to connect our trigger wire to this (if not, insulate this wire).
