Adaptors for reversing cameras

If you need to replace a faulty RV77 / CC-47 Reversing Camera, originally fitted to some Swift, Autotrail, or Bessacarr Motorhomes, then this is one of the bundles we have supplied customers with for many years. It is worth mentioning that our reversing camera has slightly different dimensions from the original camera. In this bundle, we will supply an adaptor cable to go from our 4-pin screw connector to the 6-pin PS2 connector that is fitted to the original cable. Our adaptor has been wired up the same way as the original was. The adaptor cable has a trigger wire added; if the original camera had an orange trigger lead connected at the back (to reverse feed), then you will need to connect our trigger wire to this (if not, insulate this wire).

We have used this adaptor cable to support Swift and Autotrail Motorhome Owners when replacing their original failed factory-installed reversing camera. The RV-207 reverse camera is often seen on Swift, Autotrail, and Bessacarr motorhomes.  It is a twin camera system that runs to a Sargent Electrical EM5 series control box.  This bundle is for a compatible driving camera, plus an adaptor lead to convert it to the 6 pin connector required.  The camera is fitted with a high spec 1/3" Sony CCD image sensor, and an 8mm lens to give 45 degrees (the best angle for rear view/always on driving).  As our camera uses a 4 pin connector, this bundle includes a discounted adaptor, which converts our 4 pin connector to the same 6 pin connector required on the original cabling.  We have sold many hundreds of these bundles over the years with total success.

As part of our extensive range of motorhome reversing camera system support adaptors, this one allows people who have a RVM720/730 Mirror Monitor to change the monitor display to either a stereo headunit or a dash monitor with phono RCA inputs.

An adaptor bundle set, designed to replace the mirror monitor on Sargent Electrical reversing camera systems that use the EM5 series boxes.  Commonly seen on Swift, Autotrail, Bessacarr motorhomes.  Our mirror monitor uses a slimline 8 pin plug, which then fits to our Adaptor I (converts to a PS/2 connector, which we have had pinned out to match Sargent's cabling). 

These cable adaptors will convert the 2010 onwards Waeco cable fitted on vehicles like Baileys to a single 4 pin socket/plug like we use on our single camera systems. Both front and rear adaptors are provided. These cables are not made by Waeco, just compatible.  We only sell these as pairs because we have found the inside of the cables to be wired in differently.

This is the 5 pin version adaptor for the Fendt Vario - designed to be plugged in to the connection at the back of the arm rest converting it to a 4 pin "aviation" connector (as seen on almost all reversing cameras nowadays - including all of our selection).

We are often approached by customers who have a single cable installed in their motorhome, but who would like to fit either a second camera, or one of our twin lens cameras to provide both rear view/parking view.  One of the factories we use made this switching box for us.

We very often get people who have an older system that has unusual connectors that wish to adapt their existing wiring to the industry standard - 4 pin aviation connector.  In the past, our customers used to purchase a 1M cable, which they would cut in half to connect each wire to their existing lead.  We decided to get our cable factory to make us a new 100cm length lead which has been pre-separated out to the individual wires.  

There are times when people find themselves with two male phono / RCA plugs that they need to join together. These female to female couplers help to overcome this and "couple" the two plugs together.

Occasionally you meet a situation where you need to get two male 4 pin aviation reversing camera plugs to join up with each other. This cable allows you to do so.

We occasionally get asked by customers for a cable to change the gender of a 4 pin aviation cable, this cable has male connectors both ends, meaning it can change a female connection in to a male connection.

We were frequently getting asked for a reversing camera cable splitter cable to allow one feed to go to 2x monitors, or 1x monitor and 1x MDVR.  This cable achieves this.

There may be occasions where you need to connect two female RCA Phono connectors together.  This gender changer allows you to do so.

The piggyback fuse holders have become a popular method of providing power to the reversing camera system due to their ease and simplicity. We provide a 3 amp fuse that fits in the top slot which is the correct rating for all of our reversing camera kits, the lower slot will accept the original fuse to whatever circuit you are tapping off. You then attach the red wire to the power supply of the monitor either with the crimp, or by cutting that off and soldering (our preferred method).
