• This reversing camera kit comes with our popular clip-over mirror monitor, plus either a black or white coloured roof mount overhang camera.  
• These kits are popular with vans, as the camera body fixes to the roof, whilst its plastic body overhangs outwards with an adjustable ball camera at the end.  
• We do stock an extension plate that extends this camera even further out (in case you have very thick doors to get past).  The extension plate is available here.  
• The picture is very good as the camera comes with a Sony 700TVL 1/3" CCD image sensor inside and the monitor uses an 800x480 pixel digital panel screen. This combination gives a good resolution and good colour replication. 
• IR LEDs are used on the camera to give night vision in low light level conditions.

• Kit is supplied with our roof overhang reverse camera, which is fitted with one of a choice of two great oerformance Sony image sensors - the Sony CCD or the Sony AHD (High Definition Upgrade Option)
• The reversing camera has IR LED night vision.

On some vans, where the doors are particularly thick it may obscure the vision of our roof mount camera (the plastic camera we sell for the roof which has a ball camera at the end). These stainless steel plates were made so you could extend the camera out further to give a better viewing angle.
