These are easy to use, reusable, and gentle on the cables being tied up. We like these cable ties.

We prefer adhesive lined heat shrink versus non adhesive lined. The added advantages are that the connection is moistureproof and the heatshrink will never move position to expose the wires underneath.

A sealant gun is very handy to have so that you can seal the cable entry point for the reversing camera wire. Modern sealant/adhesives that coachbuilders use, like Sikaflex 522 will even allow you to bond the camera bracket up with no screws (you will need to remove the camera from the bracket until it sets).  They come in a tube that require one of these tools in order to squeeze the sealant out. This is a no frills entry level model.

This is a low cost option for people needing a soldering iron for making connections to vehicle electrics. Soldering is always our preferred option for long lasting, reliable connections, especially when combined with our adhesive lined heat shrink to protect the joint (although you can use our insulation tape for joints made in dry areas).

We aren't keen on crimps ourselves, but we understand the benefits of working with them on occasion.  This is a simple splice crimp connector - red size.

We used to sell cheaper multimeters a while back that were supplied by an alternative producer, but they used to fail, so we stopped selling.  We use multimeters on a regular basis, so we need reliability.  We switched to using Tenma for ourselves and haven't had one fail yet.  We have now decided to start selling multimeters again that are supplied by the same company we use for ourselves. This is their auto ranging model. 

Our favourite method of connecting any wires up when installing a reversing camera system is the trusty old solder. This is a convenient tube of 1.2mm lead free soldering wire with a melt point of 228C.  Total length is 180CM.
