CAM104AHD – 1080P AHD Number Plate Frame Reversing Camera with Night Vision

This is our CAM104AHD, a high-definition number plate frame reversing camera fitted with a premium Galaxy Core 2053 1080P AHD image sensor for a crisp, detailed picture. It combines a number plate frame design with an adjustable tilt mechanism so you can fine-tune the viewing angle, a high-quality 150° aspheric wide-angle lens and built-in IR LEDs for night vision. It works well on almost any vehicle with a standard number plate, including cars, vans, motorhomes, luton vans and pick-up trucks. If the vehicle has a UK or EU standard size number plate, this camera will fit.  This camera must be used with an AHD-compatible monitor and comes with our two-year Reversing Cameras UK guarantee.

1080P AHD Galaxy Core 2053 Image Sensor - The Galaxy Core 2053 1080P AHD sensor provides a sharp, genuinely high-definition image with very good colour accuracy and clarity. It is a clear step up from standard-definition number plate cameras and suits customers who want a more modern, detailed picture.

High-Quality 150° Aspheric Lens - The aspheric lens offers a wide 150° field of view without the over-the-top “fishbowl” distortion that some ultra-wide lenses suffer from. It gives excellent usable coverage behind the vehicle for everyday reversing and manoeuvring.

Number Plate Frame Design - The camera is built into a neat number plate frame, helping it blend in around the plate area rather than looking like a bolt-on box. It is ideal where you want a tidy, integrated appearance.

Extension cable options

We offer extension cables from 1 m to 20 m to suit different installation routes. Selected lengths can be supplied with a slim 8 mm disconnect joint, positioned approximately 1 m from the monitor end, making routing through tight spaces such as grommets, headlining and factory trunking much easier. This joint is not waterproof and must remain inside the vehicle.

RCA adaptor set option

If your monitor or stereo head unit uses RCA inputs, an optional discounted adaptor bundle can be added. It includes:

• 1 × CAB0020 4-pin to RCA adaptor (video and power breakout)
• 1 × CAB101 1.5 m power lead with inline fuse (red +12 V and black earth)
• 1 × RCA/Phono coupler for converting male-to-male RCA connections

This provides everything needed to connect the camera to an RCA-based monitor.

How to fit the number plate frame reverse camera to your vehicle

This camera is very easy to install.

1. Unscrew your existing number plate from your vehicle

2. Slide the number plate in to the new number plate frame camera

3. Fix the number plate + frame camera to the vehicle using the original screws

4. Make a small channel on the number plate light to allow the wire to enter the vehicle without getting crushed (or use the attached grommet).
