CAM105AHD – 1080P AHD White Number Plate / Surface Reversing Camera

This is our CAM105AHD, a high-definition number plate/surface-mount reversing camera finished in white to blend neatly with motorhomes, campervans, vans and commercial vehicles. It uses the CMOS2399 1080P AHD sensor to deliver a bright, colourful, detailed image with very good low-light performance, supported by eight infrared LEDs for night vision. The adjustable barrel-style lens allows you to fine-tune the view, and the 150° wide-angle coverage provides excellent visibility when reversing or manoeuvring. This camera must be used with an AHD-compatible monitor and includes our two-year Reversing Cameras UK guarantee (see further below for more details).

Key Features

1080P AHD CMOS2399 Image Sensor - The CMOS2399 1080P AHD sensor delivers a crisp, high-definition picture, providing a clear improvement over standard-definition reversing cameras. Colours, clarity and contrast are noticeably better, especially on larger displays.

150° Wide Viewing Angle - The wide 150° field of view provides excellent rear coverage, helping you see more of what is happening behind the vehicle in a single glance. Very wide angle but the higher quality lens used on this model avoids the extreme “fishbowl” distortion often seen on cheaper cameras with similar lens angles.

White Number Plate / Surface Design - Designed specifically for white vehicles such as motorhomes, panel vans and commercial fleet vehicles. The compact white housing blends in far more naturally than traditional black cameras, especially when mounted near number plates or on rear walls.

Adjustable Barrel Camera - The barrel-style camera module can be tilted to achieve the ideal viewing angle for your installation, whether you want to see more of the bumper or more of the road behind.

Night Vision IR LEDs - Fitted with eight infrared LEDs, helping maintain a clear image in low-light or night-time reversing situations. The IR illumination is invisible to the eye but highly effective for the camera.

IP68 Waterproof Rating - IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it. Suitable for year-round outdoor use on motorhomes, vans and commercial vehicles.

4-Pin Aviation Connector with Optional RCA Adaptors - Uses the standard 4-pin screw-type aviation connector for video and power. A discounted RCA adaptor bundle is available for monitors or stereos that use RCA inputs.

AHD compatibility notice

Extension cable options

We offer extension cables from 1 m to 20 m to suit different installation routes. Selected lengths can be supplied with a slim 8 mm disconnect joint, positioned approximately 1 m from the monitor end, making routing through tight spaces such as grommets, headlining and factory trunking much easier. This joint is not waterproof and must remain inside the vehicle.

RCA adaptor set option

If your monitor or stereo head unit uses RCA inputs, an optional discounted adaptor bundle can be added. It includes:

• 1 × CAB0020 4-pin to RCA adaptor (video and power breakout)
• 1 × CAB101 1.5 m power lead with inline fuse (red +12 V and black earth)
• 1 × RCA/Phono coupler for converting male-to-male RCA connections

This provides everything needed to connect the camera to an RCA-based monitor.
