This compact bracket-mounted reversing camera was added to our range to offer a small, flexible camera option with a higher-quality image than is usually found in cameras of this size. We specifically had this model produced using the PC4089 image sensor — the same sensor we use in our highly regarded brake light cameras.

Modern High-Resolution Image Sensor - The PC4089 is a modern generation CMOS image sensor, not to be confused with the low-cost CMOS sensors commonly used in budget cameras in the past. It delivers a clear, detailed image with good colour replication, while also allowing the camera to be offered at a more competitive price compared to CCD-based models. We have passed this saving directly on.

All-Glass Lens Construction - We spent extra specifying this camera with a 4-element all-glass lens. Many similar cameras use a mix of glass and plastic lenses, which can become cloudy over time due to heat and UV exposure. By using only glass lenses, this camera maintains image clarity long term.

Compact Bracket Design - The small adjustable bracket makes this camera easy to position and aim, allowing it to be mounted discreetly while still providing a useful reversing or parking view. It is well suited to vans, motorhomes, and commercial vehicles where a subtle installation is preferred.

Guideline Function ON/OFF - A trigger loop is fitted to allow the on-screen parking guidelines to be turned on or off, depending on your preference or the requirements of your monitor or head unit.

Weather Protection - The camera body itself is rated to IP68 and is suitable for permanent external mounting. As with many compact cameras, there is an inline voltage regulator fitted along the cable, which must be positioned in a clean, dry, protected location inside the vehicle.

Power Compatibility - The camera operates on 12V. When used with a 4-pin connection to a 12V/24V compatible monitor, the monitor automatically regulates the voltage supplied to the camera. This is standard practice, as most 24V vehicle systems still supply 12V to the camera.
