This number plate “butterfly wings” reversing camera is one of the smallest cameras we stock that still uses a true CCD image sensor. Its compact design makes it ideal for discreet installations under the number plate ledge, where the camera is barely noticeable once fitted.

High Quality Sony CCD Image Sensor - This camera has recently been upgraded from the smaller 1/4″ CCD sensor to a larger 1/3″ Sony CCD 600TVL image sensor (Sony 639). CCD sensors are well known for their improved dynamic range, colour uniformity, and consistency compared with cheaper sensor technologies. The result is a cleaner, more natural image with good colour reproduction.

Very Small and Discreet Installation - The slim “butterfly wing” design allows the camera to sit neatly on the underside of a number plate ledge. Once installed, only the camera face is visible, making it an excellent option for customers who want a subtle, factory-style finish.

Simple RCA Connection - This version of the camera is supplied with an RCA phono connector for the video signal and a 2.1 × 5.5mm DC power socket. We include a matching DC power lead which plugs into the camera and terminates in red and black wires, making it easy to connect to a suitable 12V power source.

Designed for Standard Definition CVBS Systems - The camera outputs a standard definition composite video signal, making it compatible with a wide range of RCA-based monitors, mirror displays, and aftermarket head units.
