We used to stock a similar reversing camera many years ago.  When we found this one, which had the higher quality image sensor options available we gladly ordered some.  These were always a popular, easy to fit option for people wanting a small, discreet camera.  The actual camera part itself is only 22mm deep and 18mm in height, it is attached to a bracket that is mostly hidden behind the numberplate itself.  You have the option of using screws to attach this, or my preference is either an adhesive sealant, or some very strong tape such as Scotch Red.

• 4 Pin + RCA Connector Wiring Supplied - This camera has a small connector to help get through the small hole drilled for the bolt that the wire comes through. This then connects in to one of two wiring looms. The first is 4 pin screw aviation type. The second is RCA Phono connector type.

I have heard of people either very carefully cutting the mastic away to give them access to the rear bolt, or cutting the rear cupboard at the location of the camera to give access from the rear (this method required very careful measurements to ensure the hole lands to the rear of the camera). The connectors plastic moulding may need filing down in order for the plug to insert fully in to the original socket.
