Our White Painted Stainless Steel Bracket Rear View / Driving Camera is fitted with a Sony 1/3" CCD 700tvl image sensor for a great, colourful, high-resolution image. Fitted with 18 IR LEDs and with the Sony 811's great low-light level sensitivity, this camera has excellent night vision. Thanks to the painted stainless steel bracket, an excellent rust-resistant material, there are no worries regarding rusty brackets. 4 Pin waterproof screw locking connector cable, with the option to add one of our RCA adaptor bundle sets should you have an RCA Monitor or are fitting to a Stereo head unit.

• Small Entry Hole Size Disconnect Points (Optional to Remove when Ordering) - As standard we will provide the camera with small 8mm disconnect points to allow for smaller hole size for cable entry. These smaller disconnects aren't waterproof, so if you can't get them inside the body of your vehicle within 30cm please select the non-8mm version option above.

This camera is the latest on the market. One issue with CCD cameras is they need a lot of volume to take the electronics. This means traditionally they were relatively large. New developments mean this is no longer true and this camera is one of the first using this technology. It is designed to mount in the number plate area with its mounting bracket mounted above it.

This is one of our latest cameras in, we wanted to add a small flexible camera to our range, with a high resolution, but still with IR LED's for night time.  We asked for these cameras to be made with the PC4089 image sensor - the same sensor we use in our brake light cameras, we spent extra to spec the cameras out with 4 glass lenses, instead of the standard 2 glass/2 plastic that you would usually see on these type of cameras (we chose all glass lenses because the plastic lenses go cloudy over time, because of UV exposure from the sun).  The PC4089 image sensor is one of the modern latest generation of CMOS (not to be confused with the cheap and cheerful CMOS of the past).  As the price is lower than CCD, we have passed these savings on to you. 

A simple budget version of our popular bracket reversing camera. Comes with a cheaper CMOS image sensor, yet still has the stainless steel bracket that we have fitted on our higher up premium level cameras. This cameras outputs guidelines to the image, please kindly note that you cannot remove these from the image displayed.

We used to stock a similar reversing camera many years ago.  When we found this one, which had the higher quality image sensor options available we gladly ordered some.  These were always a popular, easy to fit option for people wanting a small, discreet camera.  The actual camera part itself is only 22mm deep and 18mm in height, it is attached to a bracket that is mostly hidden behind the numberplate itself.  You have the option of using screws to attach this, or my preference is either an adhesive sealant, or some very strong tape such as Scotch Red.
