We were asked to stock a more compact side-view camera that would be harder to notice on a vehicle and would not look out of place when mounted on areas such as the front wing of a van to look backwards down the side. For this reason, we worked with one of the top-rated camera manufacturers we have used for many years to produce a small, discreet, reliable side camera.

Good Image Quality - This camera uses the F53 image sensor, producing a high-resolution 700TVL image. If you are seeking the very best possible image quality, a larger Sony CCD sensor would perform slightly better. However, using a Sony sensor would require a physically larger camera body. Compact Size Side View Camera - The small physical size of this camera makes it particularly popular for vans, motorhomes, and larger vehicles where a discreet installation is preferred. It blends in well and does not look intrusive once fitted.

IR Night Vision LEDs - Infra Red LEDs are fitted to allow the camera to operate in low-light and dark conditions. The IR light is invisible to the human eye but visible to the camera, helping maintain a usable image at night.

110° Wide Field of View - The camera provides an approximate 110-degree viewing angle, making it well suited for blind spot monitoring and detecting cyclists or pedestrians alongside the vehicle.

Mirror Image Output - The camera outputs a mirror image to replicate what you would naturally expect to see in your vehicle’s side mirrors, making interpretation quick and intuitive.

Adjustable for Left Side, Right Side, or Rear View

The ball-mounted camera can be rotated to allow installation on the left-hand side, right-hand side, or rear of the vehicle. When fitting, ensure the green IR light sensor is positioned at the bottom of the camera so the image appears the correct way up on the monitor.
