This camera does not have infra-red cut as it is too small. As a result when there is a large amount of green vegetation in the image the colours will tend to be shifted towards the purple end of the spectrum. On normal road conditions, colour reproduction is normally good.

Mini flush fitting bumper reverse camera with spring clips

We wanted to add a small flexible bracket camera to our range, with a high resolution, but still with IR LED's for night time
The camera is reduced in price as we found the camera image went a bit purple with green plants and grass when close by (but not at a distance). This doesn't impact the quality too much, but as it didn't quite hit our expectation we have reduced the price to clear.
The lens angle is wide, approximately 150 degrees diagonally measured.
Waterproof to IP68, but please be aware of the in-line voltage regulator is not - it is approximately 40cm along the cable between the camera and connectors, this part must be kept clean and dry due to the small vents/holes.
Comes with BOTH RCA and 4-Pin Connectors, which are changeable via a small disconnect point. If you require cables, please select the appropriate one from the drop down menu of your choice.

Connectors Info (RCA and 4 Pin)

The camera is supplied with both a 4-pin screw connector and an RCA phono connector. You can choose which to use by changing at the 6.5 mm disconnect point located roughly 60 cm back from the camera.

Please note there is also a non-waterproof power regulator at the same distance. This must be positioned in a dry, protected location (for example inside a tailgate) to prevent premature failure.

4-Pin to RCA Adaptor Option

Even though this camera is supplied with both connector types as standard, we still offer a discounted 4-pin to RCA adaptor for those who need it. This can be useful in two scenarios:

1) Modern vehicles with CANBUS or pulsed (PWM) reverse feeds
Using a 4-pin cable plus this adaptor lets you take camera power from an ignition feed at the front of the vehicle instead of relying on the reverse light feed. You can still connect a simple reverse-light trigger so the monitor or stereo only wakes up when reverse is selected.

2) Viewing the camera even when not in reverse
If you want to see the camera on demand (for example while driving forward or towing), the adaptor allows you to power the camera independently and view it without needing to be in reverse gear.
