Mini Flexible Bracket Reversing Camera with RCA & 4-Pin Fly Leads (CVBS) | CAM536

The CAM536 is a compact, flexible bracket reversing camera designed for installations where space is tight but a wide viewing angle is still required. It is particularly popular for number plate mounting areas thanks to its very small housing and 6.5 mm interchangeable cable disconnect, allowing the cable to be passed through small apertures before reconnecting.

This camera was developed with the aim of adding a small-format bracket camera to our range that still offered a wide field of view and infrared night vision. In most situations, the image quality is excellent, which is why it was manufactured for us by one of our most respected camera manufacturers.

However, during testing we found that when the camera is very close to bushes, grass, or dense green foliage, the image can take on a slight purple or magenta tint. This is due to the camera’s compact size, which prevented us from fitting our usual cut filters, combined with the need to allow infrared wavelengths through for night vision operation.

This effect does not appear at distance and does not bother most users. Aside from this minor characteristic, it is a beautifully made camera. As it did not quite meet our usual standard for inclusion in full kits, we have chosen to clear remaining stock at a heavily reduced price.

Ideal for number plate installations – The small disconnect joint is particularly useful when mounting near number plates or trims where drilling large holes is not desirable.

IP68 waterproof camera housing – IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it.

Important installation note – There is an in-line voltage regulator approximately 40 cm from the camera. This part is not waterproof and must be kept clean and dry due to small vent holes.

Clearance pricing – Reduced in price due to the minor colour shift seen when very close to foliage. Stock is limited and will not be replenished.
