Budget Bracket Reversing Camera with Stainless Steel Bracket (CVBS) | CAM016

The CAM016 is a budget-rated bracket-style reversing camera, offered at a reduced price as an end-of-line clearance model. It is designed for customers who want a simple, functional reversing camera with a traditional mounting bracket, without the image quality or colour accuracy of our regular and premium camera range.

This model uses a 7070 image sensor, producing a basic CVBS image suitable for general reversing assistance. Compared with our higher-grade cameras, this sensor delivers lower resolution and weaker colour replication, which is reflected in both the pricing and the 1-year guarantee supplied with this model.

Once existing stock is sold, this camera will not be restocked. It is priced to clear and is ideal for older vehicles, temporary installations, or customers simply looking for the lowest-cost bracket camera solution.

Key features

Bracket-style reversing camera – Traditional mounting design using an adjustable bracket, allowing the camera to be positioned higher up on a rear wall or mounted on a horizontal surface such as the top of a door.

7070 image sensor – Provides a basic reversing image suitable for parking assistance. Image sharpness and colour accuracy are lower than our regular and premium Sony CCD camera range.

Static reversing guidelines – This camera outputs fixed on-screen guidelines that cannot be turned off. The guidelines are permanently enabled and may not suit customers who prefer a clean image.

CVBS video output (RCA connection) – The camera outputs a standard CVBS signal via a yellow RCA/phono video connector, making it suitable for monitors and head units that accept RCA video inputs.

Separate DC power input – Power is supplied via a DC power socket, typically connected to a reversing light feed or ignition-switched supply depending on the installation. DC to red + black wires provided.

Rust-resistant stainless steel bracket – Supplied with a stainless steel mounting bracket finished in black paint. Unlike mild steel brackets, this avoids corrosion and unsightly rust streaks down the rear of the vehicle.

IP68 waterproof construction – IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it, whether the vehicle is parked outside year-round or used daily.

End-of-line clearance item – This model is being discontinued and is available only while stocks last.

1-year Revcamuk guarantee – As a budget-rated clearance camera, the CAM016 is supplied with a 12-month guarantee covering manufacturing faults (excluding user damage).

Important note – image quality, guidelines and connection type

This camera is intentionally positioned as a budget option. Image quality, colour accuracy and low-light performance are lower than our regular and premium bracket cameras.

Please also note that the reversing guidelines are fixed and cannot be disabled, and this camera uses RCA video and DC power connections rather than a single 4-pin aviation connector.
