5” Dash Monitor + Flush Fit Sony CCD Bumper Camera Kit - PM54
The PM54 kit combines our compact 5” dash monitor with the CAM038 flush fitting Sony CCD bumper camera, giving you a neat, low-profile installation without compromising on image quality. It’s well-suited to cars, vans, and motorhomes, where you want the camera to blend in rather than sit on a visible bracket. A 12.5 metre extension cable is supplied as standard, with options available from 3 metres up to 20 metres to match your vehicle size and cable route. Selected lengths can include a small 8mm diameter disconnect joint, allowing you to feed the cable through tighter gaps before reconnecting to the standard 4-pin screw connector. You can also choose different power supply methods, including a 12V lighter plug for temporary use or testing, or piggyback fuse holder taps for a cleaner hardwired finish. The monitor is supplied with a strong U-bracket as standard, and alternative mounting brackets can be added if required. Refer to the product images for full details of available options. As with all of our bundled systems, both the monitor and camera are covered by the RevCamUK 2-Year Guarantee, along with lifetime after-sales support. This kit is a pre-configured system made up of: Key featuresCompact 5” display - The 800 x 480 digital LCD panel provides a clear and detailed image whilst still remaining compact enough for dashboards with limited space. 3x camera inputs - The monitor Supports up to 3 cameras, allowing you to add futther rear or side cameras in the future. Switching can be controlled via CAM button on the monitor, trigger wires or the included remote control. Suitable for 12V and 24V vehicles - Designed to work on cars, vans, motorhomes and commercial vehicles. The monitor helps regulate the camera feed to protect against voltage fluctuations. Sony CCD 600TVL image sensor - The CAM038 uses the well-regarded Sony 1/3” CCD 600TVL (Sony 639) sensor, delivering good daytime colour performance and dependable low-light operation with the help of it's built-in night-vision infrared LEDs. Flush bumper-style design - Installed using the supplied 28mm holesaw, the camera body sits behind the panel with only the lens face visible, creating a tidy, factory-style finish. Balanced 90° viewing angle - The 2.8mm lens provides a practical 90-degree field of view, wide enough for effective parking assistance while still offering a more natural sense of distance than extreme wide-angle lenses. IP68 weather protection - IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it. Kindly note that the camera itself is waterproof; however, the inline voltage regulator on the fly lead must be installed in a dry location. 4-pin screw-lock connection system - A secure aviation-style connector that screws together, helping maintain a stable signal and reducing the risk of connection problems over time. Options you can select with this kitExtension cable length - Supplied with 12.5 metres as standard. The camera body requires a 28mm hole. A 28mm holesaw is included in the box to make installation straightforward and to ensure a clean fit.
Yes. The camera itself is IP68 rated and designed for external installation. However, the inline voltage regulator on the cable must be positioned in a dry area inside the vehicle.
Our easy wire fuse tap options are new for 2023. We designed a fuse tap that plugs in to a socket that is present on all of our monitor wiring harnesses. The other side has a "piggyback" fuse holder aka fuse tap. You identify a fuse in the fuse box that comes on/off with the ignition (see piggyback fuse holder / fuse tap instructions here - PDF download). The original fuse is placed in to the new fuse tap, plus there is a new fuse already present for the reverse camera kit. On the same wiring there is an earth terminal connector, simply attach this to a chassis bolt (usually near the fuse box, or add your own).

Yes. The 90° lens gives a natural perspective, making it suitable not only for reversing but also for use as a rear-view camera while driving if desired.
The camera is fitted with angled spacer rings. If you place the thinner of the two on the outside of the mounting surface, then place the corresponding one on the opposite side behind the mounting surface, then tighten the locking securing ring, you will have approximately 15 degrees of adjustment to play with. Please note that this won't make the camera as flush as it does when you don't use the angled rings.
Yes. The monitor is compatible with both 12V and 24V systems, making it suitable for cars, vans, motorhomes and larger commercial vehicles.
Yes. The camera outputs a mirrored image, which is correct for reversing applications.
The kit is supplied with a 12.5 metre 4-pin extension cable as standard. You can select alternative lengths from 3 metres up to 20 metres depending on your vehicle size and routing requirements.
Some cable lengths include a small 8mm diameter inline connector. This makes it easier to route the cable through tight spaces before reconnecting to the standard 4-pin screw connector.
