7" Monitor display for reverse parking camera - 2x 4 pin inputs | MON509D
Description
7 inch dash-mounted monitor display for reversing cameras - MON509DThis listing is for our 7-inch dash-mounted screen. It can take up to two channels, whether that be a reversing camera, a rear-view camera, or a side camera. Most typically, this monitor is fitted to motorhomes, vans, and heavy goods vehicles such as trucks and lorries. The monitor works on both 12V and 24V vehicles and is fitted with a high-quality, digital, high-resolution 7-inch panel. It comes with a quick-release bracket as standard, and other optional brackets are available. Please see our images for more information. Bright, clear image thanks to its high-quality digital 7-inch panel – This monitor is fitted with an 800 x 480 pixel bright, high-quality digital LCD panel. It is excellent at recreating colour detail and provides a very clear, high-resolution image. When coupled with a good quality camera, for instance, a Sony CCD camera, it creates a very capable kit. Digital panels have the advantage of delivering a more stable picture and improved colour replication compared to older-style displays. Dual camera inputs with manual and automatic switching – This monitor is fitted with two 4-pin aviation screw connector inputs, suitable for any standard CVBS reversing camera, whether PAL or NTSC. Channels can be changed using the V1 and V2 buttons on the front of the monitor, or by using the supplied remote control, which is useful if the monitor is mounted slightly away from the driver. The green trigger wire on the monitor wiring harness can also be connected, allowing channel 2 to automatically activate when reverse gear is selected, ensuring your reversing camera is displayed when needed. 12V & 24V compatibility with built-in voltage regulation – This monitor is fitted with a power regulator box on the wiring harness, which regulates the power supply for both the monitor and the camera. This allows it to be installed on 12-volt vehicles such as vans and motorhomes, as well as larger heavy goods 34v vehicles, including trucks and HGVs. It automatically regulates the supply to 12 volts for both the monitor and camera to operate correctly, whether you supply 12 or 24 volts. It can cope with voltage spikes up to 32 volts, helping to protect both the monitor and the camera and making the system very durable and long-lasting. An additional benefit of having the power regulation built into the cable is that, in the unlikely event it were ever to fail, it is inexpensive and straightforward to replace. Quick-release mounting bracket supplied as standard – This monitor is supplied with a quick-release bracket, which features a small thumb release switch to the rear should you ever wish to remove the monitor from the vehicle. One of the key benefits of this design is how easy it is to fit. You do not need to get a screwdriver behind the monitor to attach it to the bracket. A removable mounting plate attaches to the rear of the monitor itself, and the screen simply slides down into the bracket and locks into place. The bracket can be swivelled left and right, tilted back and forth, and the quick-release section can also be moved up and down the rear channel of the monitor to achieve the perfect height. Self-adhesive base makes fixing to the dashboard easy. Supported by the Revcam UK 2-year guarantee – This monitor is supported by our well-respected Revcam UK 2-year guarantee. Should anything occur within this period, we will either repair or replace the unit. We only purchase from very reputable manufacturers with whom we have long-established partnerships, and we select from the best factories available, so it is unlikely you will ever need to use this guarantee. However, it is always reassuring to know that support is there. Even beyond the two-year period, we aim to keep spare parts available for many years after your purchase. Optional power lead upgrades available – When ordering, you can add discounted power options to the bundle. For example, you can select a 12V cigarette lighter plug, which some customers use for initial testing before hardwiring the system afterwards. For hardwiring, one of the most popular options is our piggyback fuse taps, allowing you to hardwire with no soldering or crimping. One end plugs into the monitor wiring harness power socket, and the other fits into your fuse box on an ignition-based circuit you have selected. Optional RCA adaptor cables for existing RCA wiring – If your vehicle is already wired with RCA cabling and you are updating or replacing a monitor but need to retain an existing camera, use the drop-down menu to select the one or two RCA adaptor option. The adaptor screws into one of the monitor’s 4-pin camera inputs and provides a yellow RCA socket for a standard RCA video connection. Optional mounting bracket upgrades available – The monitor is supplied with a bracket as standard, but additional bracket options can also be added to the bundle at a discounted price. Please see our images for the available options, such as ceiling mount, suction mount, and heavy-duty ball joint style monitor brackets. What’s in the box
