This listing is for our 7 inch dash-mounted reversing camera monitor, designed to work with traditional CVBS signal camera systems. It is a 2-channel display, allowing you to connect a reversing camera along with a rear-view or side camera. The 7 inch size is the most popular option for motorhomes and vans, offering a good balance between screen visibility and practical dash mounting. This model is supplied with a removable sunshade and a heavy-duty U-bracket as standard.

Bright, clear image from high-resolution 7 inch digital panel – The monitor uses an 800 x 480 pixel digital LCD panel, providing a sharp and stable image with good colour reproduction. While many panels share the same resolution on paper, performance can vary greatly. This screen has been chosen for its performance and reliability. When paired with quality CVBS reversing cameras, including Sony CCD models. It comfortably handles the maximum resolution output of traditional CVBS systems, which still make up the majority of reversing camera installations.

Advanced menu system with channel-specific settings – Unlike basic monitors that only allow brightness or contrast adjustment, this display includes a more capable menu system. You can independently configure each channel, for example mirroring one camera but not the other. Interval mode can also be enabled, allowing the screen to alternate between channels at set time intervals. Adjustable reverse guidelines with metric or imperial display – When connected to the reverse trigger wire, the monitor can display parking guidelines automatically when reverse gear is selected. These lines can be adjusted in width and position, both horizontally and vertically. Distance markers can be added, with the option to display measurements in metres or feet, depending on your preference.

2-channel system for reversing and rear-view cameras – The supplied wiring harness includes 2x 4 pin aviation screw connector inputs, the preferred connector type within the reversing camera industry. These connectors allow the monitor to power the cameras directly, avoiding compatibility issues and keeping installation straightforward. Channels can be selected using the CAM button on the monitor, via the remote control, or automatically using the trigger wire setup.

Automatic trigger wire for hands-free switching – A trigger wire is linked to channel 2, allowing the monitor to automatically switch to your reversing camera when reverse gear is engaged. The trigger wire can be connected to a reverse light feed or other switched power source. Manual viewing is still possible without using the trigger wire, but automatic switching adds convenience during everyday use.

Heavy-duty U-bracket and removable sunshade supplied – The monitor is supplied with a strong heavy-duty U-bracket for secure dash mounting. The removable sunshade helps reduce glare in brighter conditions and can be detached if not required. The rear mounting channel also allows optional alternative brackets to be fitted if a different mounting style is preferred.

Optional RCA adaptor cables for existing RCA systems – If you are replacing an older monitor that used RCA phono connections, optional RCA adaptor cables are available. These short adaptors screw onto the 4 pin inputs and convert them into standard yellow RCA sockets, allowing you to retain your existing RCA camera wiring.

Two year guarantee and long-term support – This monitor is covered by our 2 year guarantee. In the unlikely event of a fault within this period, we will repair or replace the unit. We also carry spare parts such as wiring harnesses and aim to support our products for many years after purchase, helping you maintain your system without needing to replace everything.
