Description

White Twin-Lens Bracket Motorhome Reversing & Driving Camera Kit with 7-inch Dash Monitor

The PM63W is a twin-lens reversing and driving camera system designed for vans, motorhomes, and HGVs. It combines a 7-inch dash-mounted display with a white stainless-steel bracket camera that offers both a 120° wide-angle reversing view and a 45° rear-view driving perspective. Supplied with a Sony CCD 700TVL image sensor as standard, with the option to upgrade to Sony AHD 1080P for sharper definition and more vibrant colours. IP68 rated, stainless steel bracket, and robust build for reliable daily use.

Key features

  • 7-inch dash monitor with high-resolution digital LCD panel
  • Twin-lens bracket camera: 120° wide for reversing + 45° rear-view driving
  • Choice of Sony CCD 700TVL (standard) or Sony AHD 1080P upgrade
  • White stainless-steel camera bracket for corrosion resistance
  • IP68 camera housing with anti-rust design
  • 12-24 V DC input with built-in surge protection
  • Durable 4-pin aviation connectors for secure, weatherproof wiring
  • Optional lighter plug or fuse tap for easy installation
  • UK tested & supported, supplied with 2-year guarantee

More about this kit

Twin view flexibility: One lens looks directly behind for reversing, while the second lens provides a narrower driving view. Switch between views using the monitor or trigger wire.

Upgrade option: The Sony CCD sensor gives a sharp and colourful picture. The AHD 1080P upgrade improves definition and delivers richer colours, making the most of the 7-inch screen.

Wiring & water ingress note: Features an 8 mm disconnect joint option to allow routing through smaller entry holes. This joint is not waterproof and must be kept inside the vehicle. If you need to route the cable externally (for example along a motorhome roof), request the version without the 8 mm joint in your customer notes.

Monitor & bracket quality: The slimline 7-inch display is designed for dash mounting, and the stainless-steel bracket ensures long-term durability even in harsh weather conditions.

UK-tested reliability: Every unit is tested twice — once at the factory and again in the UK — checking cables, IR LEDs, connectors, and menu functions to guarantee consistent performance.

Additional monitor bracket/mount options

We can supply a discounted additional mount/bracket for the monitor when ordered at the same time as the kit.  Please see the photo below, and make your selection using the drop down menu above the add to cart button.

See our video below for details about the brackets in the photo above.

Choice of kit power options

  • On the monitor wiring harness is a 2.1mm DC socket. On the drop down menu of this product, you can select your desired power lead to plug in to this.
  • The standard hardwiring is supplied with all options, this terminates in a red wire (+12V/+24V), and black wire (earth).
  • For the ultimate quick install is a lighter plug option. Some people also order this just for the initial setup, before changing to the standard hardwiring/fuse tap.
  • Fuse taps aka piggyback fuse holders, are the most recent addition to our options. This allows you to "piggyback" off an existing circuit from your fuse box. The most common size fuse found in modern vehicles is the mini blade (size = 10.9mm wide x 16.4mm tall), older vehicles are likely to have the standard blade (size = 19.1mm wide x 18.8mm tall). Download and read our Fuse Tap installation instructions PDF for more information.
  • Our fuse taps were designed by us, they have a 200cm lead that connects directly to the monitor socket with no soldering / crimping required. There is a black wire with an earth terminal attached - designed to fix to a chassis bolt/screw.  This earth wire/terminal can be separated away from the red wire to enable you to find the most convenient ground/earth (although often this is next to the fuse box).
Power Supply Options including lighter plug and piggyback fuse taps

Yes you can. This kit has two cameras built in to one bracket. The one camera looks back down the road as your driving camera (acts as a rear view mirror). The other camera points downwards to the ground, you will select this camera when you are reversing/parking.

Absolutely.  This camera can be mounted both on a vertical surface eg rear wall/door, or on a horizontal surface eg roof/top of door.

Our easy wire fuse tap options are new for 2023.  We designed a fuse tap that plugs in to a socket that is present on all of our monitor wiring harnesses.  The other side has a "piggyback" fuse holder aka fuse tap.  You identify a fuse in the fuse box that comes on/off with the ignition (see piggyback fuse holder / fuse tap instructions here - PDF download).  The original fuse is placed in to the new fuse tap, plus there is a new fuse already present for the reverse camera kit.  On the same wiring there is an earth terminal connector, simply attach this to a chassis bolt (usually near the fuse box, or add your own).

Rough guide:

  • 5M is good for a small van
  • 10M is good for a medium length van (around 6M)
  • 10M 8mm joint (same as above but with a small 8mm disconnect point on the front of the cable to allow cable to get through tight spots/bulkheads)
  • 12.5M is good for most vehicles up to around 8.5M long (covers most motorhomes except the super long)
  • 12.5M 8mm joint (same as above but with a small 8mm disconnect point on the front of the cable to allow cable to get through tight spots/bulkheads)
  • 15M is good for vehicles up to around 10/11M eg rigid lorry, small coach.
  • 15M 8mm joint (same as above but with a small 8mm disconnect point on the front of the cable to allow cable to get through tight spots/bulkheads)
  • 20M is good for super long vehicles
Twin reversing camera cable 8mm disconnect point

Yes.  Please select the option at the bottom of the cable length drop down menu.  It will be labelled 2010+ Dometic/Waeco adaptors.  Instead of a long cable, you will receive the twin channel Waeco/Dometic adaptor set. Kindly note that these adaptors will not work with the AHD upgrade option - due to the extra separated shielding requirements required for the two high-frequency 1080P AHD signals.

The standard high resolution camera/monitor is a very nice picture, it gives you everything you need for visibility. The only reason to upgrade to AHD is if you want to see even more detail such as the detail of gravel on the floor, or want the colours of cars etc to "pop" on the screen and be even more vivid. In terms of safety, both are on par with each other.

There are 3 ways you can change channel between the two inputs.

  1. Press the CAM button on the monitor
  2. Press the Channel button on the remote control
  3. Attach the green trigger wire on the monitor cabling to either a reverse wire or switch (when this has power it will switch to channel 2).
