This upgraded 1080P AHD version of our popular CAM1723 is designed as a direct replacement for the upper brake light assembly on Fiat Ducato, Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer (2006–present) and later Vauxhall Movano models (2022+). It keeps a true OEM-style appearance so the rear of the van still looks factory, while giving you a much clearer, sharper view when reversing or manoeuvring.

The camera uses the C2399 AHD sensor paired with an all-glass lens to provide excellent colour, contrast and detail. The wide 160° diagonal viewing angle gives generous rear coverage for everyday reversing and parking, and the IP68-rated housing is built to cope with year-round use on working vans and motorhomes.

Excellent image quality from 1080P AHD C2399 image sensor – The C2399 AHD sensor delivers a crisp, detailed high-definition image with very natural colours, making it easier to see obstacles, bollards and pedestrians when reversing.

Extra clear all-glass lens – The camera uses an all-glass lens rather than plastic, helping to maintain clarity over time. It resists UV fade and keeps the picture sharp in both bright and dull conditions.

160° diagonal wide viewing angle – Offers a generous rear view when reversing, giving you a good spread of coverage behind the vehicle to help when backing into spaces or aligning to a pitch.

IP68 weatherproof construction – IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it. Suitable for vans that live outside and are used year-round.

AHD system compatibility – Designed specifically for 1080P AHD monitors and MDVR systems. It will not work with older CVBS-only screens, so please check your monitor type or see the AHD notice below if you are unsure.

Optional 4-pin → RCA adaptor – An adaptor can be added to allow connection to many aftermarket head units and monitors that use standard RCA/phono video inputs.

Optional extension cables – 5 m to 15 m 4-pin aviation extension cables are available to suit different van lengths, from standard panel vans through to longer motorhome conversions.

UK tested with 2-year guarantee – Fully tested and supported in the UK and supplied with a 2-year guarantee for extra peace of mind.

Fitting the brake light camera

Fitting the brake light camera is very simple.  The brake light reversing camera re-uses your existing brake light strip.  Simply remove the existing brake light via the two securing cross head screws.  Gently release the three tabs on the top and bottom of the brake light to release the light strip.  Then transplant this in to the new brake light camera.  Re-screw this back to your vehicle with the two original screws.
