About the VW Volkswagen Crafter brake light reversing camera

• This is ideal to add a reversing camera in to the location of the existing VW Crafter brake light.
• The ball camera can be angled up/down to give the ideal view - it is worth noting that adjustment wouldn't allow you to view down the road as a rear view camera.
• The image sensor we have installed is one of the latest generation 700TVL premium CMOS, which gives a really nice clear picture.
• The camera has the 4 pin plug on it's fly lead.
• The camera is waterproof up to IP68.
• Fitting kit and instructions provided to guide through installing the reversing camera

This particular system uses the PC4089 1/3" Hi-Res CMOS image sensor (not to be confused with the older technology low res CMOS), this runs at 700TVL and gives a really crisp picture with a good colour replication. We use 4xglass composite lens instead of the cheaper 2xglass, 2xplastic lenses, which cloud/fade over time due to UV exposure. With our camera you can be assured of good performance and long term reliability.
