A reversing camera is a sensible addition to your motorhome, van, and many other types of vehicle. The main reason is safety, more than half of accidents involving a vehicle occur whilst the vehicle is reversing. Adding a rear view / reversing camera will greatly improve the visibility to this blind spot area, which will reduce the risk. Second reason is to prevent damage and cost. Repairing the damage from a collision is likely to cost many times that of a quality reversing camera system, not to mention preventing the increased insurance premiums in the following years. Stress reduction is another good reason. Myself, and many of my customers can attest to the reduction in stressful situations that can arise when you can't see what is happening when reversing/driving. A good camera system can get rid of the anxiety this causes by showing you the detail behind your vehicle.
