The CAM1723TW-AHD Dual-View Brake Light Camera is designed to give you both a clear reversing image and a useful rear-view driving picture, so it is helpful throughout the entire journey rather than only when backing up. It replaces the upper brake light on Fiat Ducato, Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer and Vauxhall Movano (2022 onwards), housing two separate cameras in one neat, factory-style unit.

One lens is angled downwards to give a wide view of the area immediately behind the vehicle when reversing, while the second lens looks further down the road for constant rear-view monitoring. Both use 1080P AHD C2399 image sensors and all-glass optics, combining an OEM-style appearance with a modern, high-definition picture.

Key features

Dual-view twin-lens design – Two separate cameras are built into a single brake light housing: one set up for reversing and close-range manoeuvring, and one aimed more horizontally for use as an always-on rear-view camera while driving.

Dedicated reversing and rear-view lenses – The reversing camera uses an approximately 130° horizontal view with infrared LEDs to help in low light, while the rear-view driving camera uses an approximately 80° horizontal view without IR so daytime colours remain natural and less “washed out”.

Excellent image quality from twin 1080P AHD C2399 sensors – Each camera uses a C2399 AHD sensor to provide a crisp, detailed high-definition image. This helps you see obstacles, traffic and pedestrians more clearly.

All-glass lenses – Both cameras use all-glass optics for improved clarity and long-term durability. Glass lenses resist UV damage better than plastic and help maintain a sharp picture over time.

IP68 weatherproof construction – IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it. Well suited to vans and motorhome conversions that live outside and see regular year-round use.

Supplied with 7-pin main cable and splitter – The kit includes a 10m 7-pin main cable plus a 7-pin to 2 × 4-pin adaptor, allowing both cameras to be connected to suitable AHD monitors and MDVR systems. If you prefer, the main 7-pin cable can be removed and replaced with your own 4-pin cabling via the adaptor.

Compatible with AHD split-screen and dual-input monitors – Ideal for use with AHD split-screen monitors where you want to view both cameras together, or with dual-input monitors that allow you to switch between reversing and rear-view feeds.

Optional RCA connection and extensions – Optional 4-pin → RCA adaptors and 10-15m extension cables are available, making it straightforward to integrate the system with a wide range of aftermarket screens and longer vehicles.
