Black Sony 1080P AHD Rear-View Driving Camera | CAM063AHDThis black Sony-sensor AHD camera is designed specifically as a rear-view driving camera, providing a clear and accurate view of vehicles behind you while driving. It is particularly suited to vans, motorhomes and conversions where the rear window view is blocked. Unlike reversing cameras, which use very wide angles, a rear-view driving camera needs a much narrower field of view to maintain correct distance perception. This model uses an angle in the ideal range of 45–60 degrees, helping you judge how far away following traffic really is. A wide-angle reversing camera would make vehicles look much further away than they are, which is unsafe when driving — which is why this camera is deliberately engineered for accuracy rather than width. The camera uses a high-quality Sony 1080P AHD sensor to produce a crisp, detailed rear image with excellent performance in both daylight and low-light driving conditions. Its compact bracket design makes it easy to mount on the back panel of a van or motorhome. AHD compatibility notice Please note: This is a high-definition 1080P AHD camera. Rear View Camera Dimensions
This camera outputs a 1080P AHD signal, so you’ll require a monitor or DVR that supports 1080P AHD — standard analogue (CVBS) monitors won’t display the image.
It uses the Sony IMX307 sensor with a resolution of 1920×1080 and has a fixed 8mm lens giving approximately a 60° field of view — ideal for rear-view clarity without exaggerated distortion.

It comes with a short fly-lead terminating in a 4-pin screw-locking aviation connector. You can then select from extension cables ranging from 1 m up to 20 m when ordering.
