This wireless reversing camera kit combines our DW71 7-inch high-definition wireless monitor with transmitter and the CAM022AHD black Sony 1080P AHD bracket reversing camera. The system is particularly well suited to caravans, trailers and other towed vehicles where running a long video cable between the camera and monitor can be awkward or impractical. A wireless transmitter sends the HD video signal from the camera to the monitor while power is supplied locally at each end, greatly simplifying installation.

7" High Definition Wireless Monitor with Built-In Aerial / Receiver

The wireless monitor features a built-in aerial and receiver designed to work with our AHD wireless transmitters. It can receive signals from up to four transmitters, allowing multiple cameras to be displayed on the screen if required. Various split-screen display modes are available, allowing you to monitor multiple cameras simultaneously. One camera and transmitter are provided with this system in this listing.

Sony IMX307 Starlight 1080P Image Sensor

This camera uses the Sony IMX307 Starlight image sensor, delivering detailed 1080P high-definition images with excellent colour balance and strong low-light performance. It produces a genuinely high-quality HD image when used with compatible AHD monitors such as the wireless monitor supplied in this kit.

Transmitter & Monitor Designed to Work with the AHD 1080P Reversing Camera

The included transmitter wirelessly transmits the AHD video signal to the monitor, preserving the detailed image produced by the modern 1080P reversing camera in this kit.

Heavy Duty Monitor Mounting Bracket

The monitor is supplied with a strong metal U-bracket allowing it to be securely mounted on dashboards or other suitable surfaces within the vehicle. Alternative mounting brackets are available if required, and you can choose from these options when ordering.

Power Options Included as Standard

The monitor is supplied with both a 12V lighter plug and a hard-wiring power lead as standard, allowing installers to choose the most suitable installation method depending on the towing vehicle.

Important Note Regarding Recording Buttons

The monitor includes SD and REC buttons on the front panel; this unit is not configured for recording. We do not advertise or supply this monitor as a recording device. In our experience, many built-in-recording monitors perform poorly and reduce overall reliability, so this model is supplied purely as a live display unit.

Rust-Resistant Stainless Steel Mounting Bracket

The camera uses a stainless steel U-bracket, finished with a durable matt black coating. This provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining a neat appearance over time. Unlike mild steel brackets, it will not produce rust streaks on the vehicle body.

Infrared Night Vision LEDs

Built-in infrared LEDs illuminate the area directly behind the vehicle in low-light conditions, allowing the camera to continue providing a usable image when reversing in darker environments.

IP68 Waterproof Housing

IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it.

Choice of Viewing Angle for Parking or Rear View Use

Choose a 60-degree lens angle for an always-on rear view to accurately replicate how far following vehicles are, or select a 120-degree lens if you prefer a little wider field of view to see what is around the adjacent lanes behind you, too. The image output is mirrored, so the left and right orientations appear as expected when reversing.

4-Pin Aviation Connector

The camera uses the standard 4-pin aviation connector commonly used in reversing camera systems. This provides a secure, weather-resistant connection compatible with our range of cables, adaptors and accessories.
