MP35 – Factory Windscreen Plate Adaptor (Converts OEM Plate to ACCMB2 / Universal Fit)The MP35 adaptor is designed to attach directly to the factory metal windscreen mounting plate found on many vans and motorhomes. Its purpose is to convert the OEM plate into the same shape and size as our ACCMB2 bracket mount, as well as most “universal” mirror monitor arms used by brands such as Wolfbox and Autovox. This makes it extremely useful for vehicles that already have a factory-fitted hexagonal shape metal mounting plate but need to fit a mirror monitor or universal mirror arm that does not match the OEM shape. Instead of removing or modifying the vehicle’s original plate, the MP35 simply fits over the top to create a standardised universal mounting point. Our brackets wouldn't fit their Autovox monitor, so the customer purchased one of the MP35 adaptor plates to allow the universal/Ford-style bracket that came with their monitor to fit the hex-style mounting on the windscreen of their Mercedes Sprinter with auto lights/wipers.

The fitting instructions shown below also mention the ACCMB2 swan-neck mirror-monitor bracket, but please note that the ACCMB2 is not included with the MP35. The instructions cover both parts because the MP35 is designed to adapt the hexagonal windscreen button so that an ACCMB2 bracket can slide on to it. As this fits other universal brackets, we decided to produce this listing just for the MP35 mounting plate adaptor.
