Sony 1080P AHD Signal Compact White Rear-View Camera with Polished Stainless Steel BracketThis compact white bracket-mount camera is perfect for vehicles where a clean, modern appearance is important, such as motorhomes, campervans and white commercial vehicles. It uses a Sony 1/2.9″ AHD image sensor to deliver true 1080P high-definition output for a clear, detailed view behind the vehicle. The polished stainless steel bracket provides both strength and corrosion resistance, while the camera’s compact body allows flexible mounting in a wide range of positions. The lens uses a narrow field of view (approximately 45°), making it ideal for rear-view driving rather than a wide reversing camera. A narrower angle provides a far more accurate perception of how close following traffic is — most rear-view driving cameras work best between 45° and 60°. You can choose between versions with or without infrared LEDs depending on whether you want improved night performance or prefer a camera that does not switch into IR mode. An IP68 waterproof rating and robust build ensure year-round reliability in British weather. AHD compatibility notice Please note: This is a high-definition 1080P AHD camera. This camera outputs a true 1080P AHD signal, so you need a monitor that supports AHD high-definition input. Standard analogue (CVBS) monitors will not display an image.
It uses a Sony 1/2.9″ sensor outputting 1920×1080 resolution and you have a choice of lens - 45°, giving more realistic distance perception (less exaggerated “fish-eye” effect) — ideal for general rear-view, or 120°, giving a wide view for parking.
Yes — it features a polished stainless-steel bracket with corrosion resistance and a compact black camera body, making it ideal for cars, vans, motorhomes and HGVs where appearance and durability count.
The housing is rated IP68 for waterproofing and the camera has optional IR LED night vision. It’s proven to stand up to heavy rain, road spray and typical British weather conditions.
It comes with a 4-pin screw-locking aviation connector on the camera end. You can choose extension cables from 1 m up to 20 m and select an optional 4-pin to RCA adapter if required.
