Mini flush fitting bumper reverse camera with spring clips - CAM086

Our mini flush fitting bumper reversing camera is designed for installations where you want the smallest, least visible camera possible. Once installed, only the tiny face of the camera is visible, making it ideal for modern bumpers, valances, or anywhere a discreet finish is important.

Ultra-Compact Flush Fit Design - This is one of our smallest reversing cameras and is designed to push-fit neatly into a compact 18.5mm hole, most commonly drilled into the bumper. Spring clips hold the camera securely in place without the need for brackets or visible fixings. An 18.5mm hole saw is supplied to make installation straightforward.

Wide Angle Coverage for Confident Reversing - A wide-angle lens is fitted, providing approximately a 150° diagonal field of view. This gives excellent coverage behind the vehicle and helps highlight obstacles, kerbs, posts, or low objects that may not be visible using mirrors alone.

Reliable Performance in All Weather - The camera body itself is rated to IP68 and is suitable for permanent external mounting. As with many compact cameras, there is an inline voltage regulator fitted along the cable. This is located approximately 40cm from the camera and must be positioned in a clean, dry, protected location inside the vehicle to ensure long-term reliability.

Flexible Connection Options - Supplied with both a 4-pin screw connector and RCA phono wiring, this camera can be used with dedicated reversing camera monitors or stereo head units. A small disconnect point allows you to choose which connector type best suits your installation.

The camera is supplied with both a 4-pin screw connector and an RCA phono connector. You can choose which to use by changing at the small disconnect point located roughly 60cm back from the camera.

Please note there is also a non-waterproof power regulator at the same distance. This must be positioned in a dry, protected location (for example inside a tailgate) to prevent premature failure.

4-Pin to RCA Adaptor Option

Even though this camera is supplied with both connector types as standard, we still offer a discounted 4-pin to RCA adaptor for those who need it. This can be useful in two scenarios:

1) Modern vehicles with CANBUS or pulsed (PWM) reverse feeds
Using a 4-pin cable plus this adaptor lets you take camera power from an ignition feed at the front of the vehicle instead of relying on the reverse light feed. You can still connect a simple reverse-light trigger so the monitor or stereo only wakes up when reverse is selected.

2) Viewing the camera even when not in reverse
If you want to see the camera on demand (for example while driving forward or towing), the adaptor allows you to power the camera independently and view it without needing to be in reverse gear.
