7 inch monitor display for reversing cameras

  • We have sold this 2-channel 7" monitor for a number of years now, with great picture quality and reliability.
  • One of the most advanced menu systems we have seen on a reversing camera monitor.
  • The monitor can be setup to add guidelines when reverse gear is selected (requires attaching the green trigger wire to a reverse light feed).
  • Guidelines can be moved on screen - see PDF instruction manual on this listing for more details (you can even label the lines with numbers and ft/M symbols).
  • Fitted with a 7" Hi-Resolution 800x480 pixel Digital LCD display (this is higher resolution than the cheaper 480x234 pixel analogue LCD)
  • Comes with a dash mounted bracket, with an adhesive base, other reversing camera monitor brackets available.
  • Popular for vans, motorhomes, HGV, and even in agriculture.
  • Has 2 video inputs to accept reversing camera / rear view camera input. These accept audio (if your reversing camera has a microphone).
  • Comes with a sunhood/sunshade - this is not removeable.
  • Comes with a full function remote control.
  • 1x trigger wire - to auto change channel when a trigger occurs eg selecting reverse gear.
  • Can be left on all the time, the monitor provides power to the camera down the 4 pin connector.
  • Comes with a 200cm power loom / wiring harness with 2x 4 pin "aviation" connectors (most commonly used in the industry).
  • Accepts CVBS (D1) video signal inputs (this is the most common video signal type used on probably 99% of all systems fitted).

Monitor has Digital LCD Panel - Not Standard LCD

This monitor uses a top-spec Hi-Res digital panel LCD screen with an 800x480 pixel display.  Two monitors with the same number of pixels can have a huge picture quality difference.  Rest assure that we only stock LCD panels that have the brightest backlights, and the best colour replication.  This costs us approx. 50% more than we could buy the monitors for. However, because of the picture quality, reliability, and many happy repeat customers, we are willing to pay the extra - you get what you pay for!
