Compact Polished Stainless Steel Bracket Rear View or Reversing Camera – CAM111WThis listing is for our compact, polished stainless steel bracket rear-view or reversing camera in white, developed directly from long-term customer feedback. We have supplied twin-lens camera systems for more than a decade, using a compact 50 mm wide camera body. Due to frequent customer requests to use one of these lenses as a single camera in a smaller traditional bracket, we produced a polished stainless steel bracket specifically to house one of these lens units, finished in white to suit lighter vehicle exteriors. Bracket-Style Camera Design – Bracket reversing cameras such as this remain the most popular style of camera, particularly on motorhomes, caravans, vans and HGVs. The fixed bracket design provides a stable, reliable view once set and is well-suited to rear mounting positions. Polished Stainless Steel Bracket – The mounting bracket is manufactured from corrosion-resistant polished stainless steel and supplied with a white camera housing, making it suitable for permanent exterior installation and long-term exposure to the elements. Sony CCD Image Sensor – The camera uses a 1/3" Sony CCD 700TVL image sensor, delivering a clear and stable picture with good colour accuracy in daylight and reliable performance in low-light conditions. Infra Red Night Vision LEDs – Integrated IR LEDs activate automatically as light levels drop, allowing the camera to assist with reversing and manoeuvring in dark conditions. The infra-red light is only visible to the camera and does not shine or distract other road users. Rear View or Reversing Use – This camera can be used either for reversing and parking assistance or as a rear view camera, depending on the lens option selected using the drop-down menu box above. Mirror Image Output – The camera outputs a mirror image as standard. This ensures that obstacles on the left and right appear correctly on the monitor, matching natural mirror behaviour when reversing. Selectable Lens Angle – A choice of lens angles is available: approximately 120° for parking and manoeuvring applications, or a narrower 45° option for rear view use where distance perception is preferred. Weather Protection – IP68 waterproof housing, proven to withstand the worst the British weather can throw at it. 2-Year Guarantee and UK-Based Support – Supplied with a full 2-year guarantee and backed by UK-based technical support from a specialist reversing camera supplier. Connector details and power information 4-Pin Screw Connector (Aviation Type) The camera is supplied with a 4-pin waterproof screw connector carrying both video and power through a single connection. This connector is compatible with all of our 4-pin monitors and extension cables. When used with 12V/24V compatible monitors, the voltage supplied to the camera is automatically regulated down to the correct 12V operating voltage. As standard, a small 8 mm inline disconnect is fitted between the camera and the 4-pin connector to allow a reduced hole size when passing the cable through the vehicle body. This 8 mm disconnect is not waterproof and must be installed inside the vehicle. If the cable is to be routed externally, the “straight to 4-pin” option should be selected. Optional RCA Adaptor If you need to connect this camera to a monitor, stereo head unit or display that uses an RCA (phono) video input, an optional 4-pin to RCA adaptor can be selected.
