A sealant gun is very handy to have so that you can seal the cable entry point for the reversing camera wire. Modern sealant/adhesives that coachbuilders use, like Sikaflex 522 will even allow you to bond the camera bracket up with no screws (you will need to remove the camera from the bracket until it sets).  They come in a tube that require one of these tools in order to squeeze the sealant out. This is a no frills entry level model.

This is a low cost option for people needing a soldering iron for making connections to vehicle electrics. Soldering is always our preferred option for long lasting, reliable connections, especially when combined with our adhesive lined heat shrink to protect the joint (although you can use our insulation tape for joints made in dry areas).

Ever since we moved to painted stainless steel brackets for most of our bracket cameras more than a decade ago, we have been asked by people who have bought elsewhere if they can buy one of our spare stainless steel brackets to replace their rusted mild steel ones. This listing allows you to purchase the bracket by itself without having to purchase a whole new camera. This version is painted in black.

Because we frequently get asked by customers if they can use just the one in a small bracket, and because we like to listen and learn from customers, we decided to get a bracket specially produced to house our large selection of twin lens camera units. The unit fitted to the camera provided in this listing is the 45° narrow angle driving / rear view camera. The camera body is painted black, whilst the bracket is polished stainless steel. The image sensor fitted is Sony's 811, which is our favourite sensor - 1/3" CCD 700tvl.

This is our biggest selling reversing camera and is supplied as standard with a number of our 12/24V reversing camera kits. The 4 pin connector enables a nice waterproof connection between the 4 pin lead and the camera. The 4 pin leads carry both power and video down the one cable.

This is one of the latest cameras on the market that bypass the problem of lipped doors which mean you can't fit a traditional bracket camera above the doors. This allows you to have a birds eye view still on lots of the modern vans.

This is the new highest spec version using a relatively new technology called AHD. AHD is an open source Analogue High Definition technology that has become dominant in the industry.

Big thanks to our valued regular trade customer Ross, at RFT Automotive for his photos. These were taken of a recent install that he did on one of his customers Ford Transit Connect vans.  It is an unusual brake light camera to sell, quite rare.  We did find that the angle of the camera was such, that you could even choose to angle it to view down the road whilst driving.  That may or may not appeal to people.
