The PM93W is a premium reversing and rear-view camera kit designed for larger vehicles, motorhomes, and HGVs. It combines a heavy-duty 9-inch dash-mounted monitor with a twin-lens white bracket camera, giving you both a 120° wide reversing view and a 45° narrow rear-view driving angle in one housing. Supplied with Sony CCD as standard or the upgraded Sony AHD 1080P option, this system is built for long cable runs, all-weather use, and everyday reliability.

Dual-lens flexibility: The twin-lens camera provides both a wide-angle reversing view and a narrow driving view, making it ideal for road awareness and safe parking in one compact bracket.

Sony CCD vs AHD 1080P upgrade: The Sony CCD sensor delivers excellent standard definition performance. The AHD 1080P upgrade increases resolution by 60%, with IPS panel display, improved dynamic range, and richer colours.

Power options: Supplied with a standard hardwire lead. Optional lighter plug or fuse taps are available for quick installation. Fuse taps are available in standard, mini, or micro blade sizes, and include a 200 cm lead for direct connection to the monitor socket with a chassis ground terminal.

Reliable 4-pin aviation cabling: GX12 4-pin connectors ensure secure, weatherproof performance and avoid CANBUS issues. Pure copper cores maintain signal quality even on long runs. Updated 2024 twin signal cable supports HD camera signals.

8 mm disconnect point: An 8 mm disconnect point is provided approximately 30 cm back from the camera to allow smaller cable entry holes. Note: this disconnect is not waterproof and must remain inside the vehicle. Customers may request the waterproof direct-to-4-pin version instead using the customer notes box in checkout.

AHD Update: Please take note of an important update for 2024. Our latest production of cameras includes a change – specifically, the driving rear-view camera in the recent batch is now being manufactured without IR LEDs. In contrast, the parking camera will continue to have IR LEDs. This modification is a response to customer feedback regarding the sensitivity of the Sony Starvis sensors used in the AHD cameras. Some customers found that the camera's enhanced brightness, as the IR lit up nearby trees and bushes, made the image a bit bright when driving at night in a dark cabin. Following road tests, we concluded that eliminating IR LEDs from the rear-facing camera provides a better balance of functionality. When ordering the AHD upgrade kit, you may receive either the original type (with IR LEDs) or the new batch (without IR LEDs) on the rear-view camera. If you have a preference for a specific version, please leave us a customer note when placing your order.
