9" Reversing Camera Monitor (2 Channel) - MON9010

The MON9010 is one of our larger monitors fitted with a 9" LCD display. 9 inches is a good size for very large dashboards, for instance, on heavy goods vehicles, commercial vehicles, LGV, larger vans, and larger motorhomes. The 9-inch is often chosen by people with lots of space to spare or by those who simply prefer a bigger display. The monitor accepts two channels via the 4-pin screw-locking aviation connectors. You can select alternative brackets, and a heavy-duty U-bracket is included as standard. You can also select from a number of alternative power lead options. See images for further details.

We also offer an AHD version with a higher definition IPS panel and 3 channels (instead of 2).

Extra-Large 9-Inch Panel

The reversing camera monitor is one of our larger screens with a high-quality, high-resolution digital 9-inch panel providing an 800x480 resolution in pixels. The image quality is good, and the extra size makes it easier to see, especially if the monitor is mounted far from the driver.

Removable Sunshade (Prevents Glare)

On those very appreciated but rare summer sunny days in Britain, you might be thankful that this monitor comes with a sunshade to prevent glare from the sun from affecting your ability to see the image. This can be removed if it’s not convenient to have it there. For example, if you’re having it higher up or you need to fit it somewhere where the sunshade will become an obstruction.

Reverse Trigger Wire (Auto Switching)

On the monitor wiring harness, there is a green trigger wire that, when connected to your reverse light, automatically switches to channel 2 (where you would normally plug in your reversing camera). A lot of people like twin cameras nowadays with a rear view and a reversing view using up two channels. If this is the case for your application, you’d simply watch channel 1 as your rear view camera, and then if the reverse light feed is connected, it will swap to channel 2 (your reversing camera) every time you go into reverse, and revert back to channel 1 when you come out of reverse. If you only have the one camera and the monitor is off at the time, turn the monitor on, select the channel for your reversing camera, and then turn the monitor off at the end of your reversing.

Durable, Secure Mounting

The monitor comes with side mounting points and a heavy-duty U-bracket for a rock-solid, secure fit. If preferred, remove the U-bracket and choose from our wide range of mounts – from ceiling brackets, suction brackets, and adjustable ball brackets for the dashboard that get hidden behind the monitor – and we also offer a quick-release bracket for convenience.
