| This camera is very flexible in where it is mounted, if there is a flat surface (eg bumper) where you can access the rear to tighten up, then it can be fitted. This camera is unlike similar-looking cameras as it has a mechanical seal, the front is screwed on using a thread and secured against a rubber seal. This stops the problem we have seen with other manufacturers, where the sealant is used to glue the glass in and if it isn't perfect then water can get in. The image sensor we have installed is from Sony, it is their IMX224 1/3" CMOS with great low-level light performance. The camera has the 4 pin connector on the end of a fly lead. The camera is waterproof up to IP68. |
