About the 7 inch stand/dash monitor and flush bumper reversing camera kitOur complete reversing camera kit comprising of a 7 inch monitor with stand/bracket choice options, as well as a flush fitting bullet/bumper reversing camera with image sensor quality options, plus all the cabling required. Great Image Quality - Whether you choose the standard definition version with the Sony CCD image sensor, or you opt for the upgraded version with the 2399 camera image sensor fitted and the upgraded IPS panel display you can be assured of a great picture. IP68 Waterproof Camera - Sometimes bumper cameras have a bad reputation for leaking, but not this camera. We have stocked this model from the same supplier for numerous years with no issues. We believe this is because this camera is constructed with mechanical seals versus applying sealant (common elsewhere). Please kindly note that on the Sony CCD option there is an inline voltage regulator on the cable that should be kept dry, if you aren't able to get this somewhere protected, please select the AHD upgrade version. Night Vision IR LEDs - The camera is fitted with IR LEDs to provide the camera with a light source to illuminate the area behind the camera. This is not visible to the human eye, so won't disturb any drivers behind you, but it will be useful to the camera to provide you with an image showing any hazards in the dark. Two-Year Guarantee - We stand behind our products. Performance and reliability are the most important factors for us when curating our range. This means if a factory defect shows itself during the 24-month period after sale, we will provide a replacement for the affected item. Choice of kit power options
![]() Additional monitor bracket/mount optionsWe can supply a discounted additional mount/bracket for the monitor when ordered at the same time as the kit. ![]() Image Sensor for CameraAn image sensor is the part of the camera that detects and captures information to make an image. You have two choices (selectable using the drop down box). The Sony CCD image sensor is coupled with a 90 degree lens, whilst the Sony CMOS image sensor is coupled with an even wider angle 120 degree lens. ![]() Monitor has Digital LCD Panel - Not Standard LCDThe monitor uses a Hi-Res digital panel screen with more than 3 times the amount of pixels of the standard analogue LCD screens most other retailers sell. (Please note some sellers multiply the first number by 3 for RGB, if we were to do that it sounds even more impressive (2400x480). We prefer to keep it simple but check carefully our competitors, the last number is normally better to go by as this is the number of vertical lines of pixels. ![]() System SuitabilityOur systems work on either 12V or 24V, no switches it will adjust to the voltage automatically, this also protects the kit from any surges from the vehicle upto 32V, which is why we have such a good reliability record from these voltage protected kits. ![]() 2 Year GuaranteeWe supply with a 2 year Guarantee with us, meaning we will repair or replace any non-user damaged parts that are deemed faulty. Our failure rate is very low even beyond these two years, if you have a problem outside of 2 years we should still have compatible parts and possible repairs for reasonable amounts. ![]() Parts Tested in the UKThe parts of this kit will have been tested twice, once by the factory and once by us. We check all the items in the kit including all cables, trigger wires, IR leds and menu functions to reduce any chance of having a non working part. Our fault rate is extremely low, and we just like to ensure that we avoid any imperfection slipping past. This is why professional fitters love us. ![]() Optional Guidelines displayed when reverse selectedIf you want to see the guidelines you can turn these on and off in the menu and even change the location of the guidelines and the numbers, plus change the display from ft to M. The guidelines will only work on the reversing channel and when the trigger wire for this channel is active. It won't bother you when driving forward and wanting to view the camera on all the time. |
