This adjustable number plate reversing camera offers a neat, low-profile installation with a wide field of view. The camera module sits inside a flexible rubber housing which fits into the number plate light area and holds securely in place through friction, allowing a simple push-fit installation without drilling. An adjustable ball-style lens lets you fine-tune the viewing angle for the best rear-view image on your chosen monitor.

Neat Push-Fit Installation - The flexible rubber housing allows the camera to be pushed into place without drilling large holes. This makes it ideal for discreet installations around the number plate area on cars, vans, and motorhomes.

Fixing the reversing camera to vehicle

This reversing camera is designed to fit on the ledge above the number plate. To facilitate this, the camera is supplied with a double sided 3M adhesive pad, the correct cut-out for the camera. It also comes with 2x small screws (if needed)0.

Connector details and power information

Connectors Info (RCA and 4 Pin)

The camera is supplied with both a 4-pin screw aviation connector and an RCA phono connector. You can choose which to use by swapping at the small disconnect point located roughly 60 cm back from the camera.

Please note there is also a non-waterproof inline voltage regulator at the same distance. This must be positioned in a dry, protected location (for example inside a tailgate or rear cupboard) to prevent premature failure.
4-Pin to RCA Adaptor Option

Even though this camera is supplied with both connector types as standard, we still offer a discounted 4-pin to RCA adaptor for those who need it. This can be useful in two scenarios:

1) Modern vehicles with CANBUS or pulsed (PWM) reverse feeds
Using a 4-pin cable plus this adaptor allows you to power the camera from an ignition feed at the front of the vehicle instead of relying on the reverse light circuit. A simple reverse trigger wire can still be used so the display only activates when reverse is selected.

2) Viewing the camera when not in reverse
If you want to view the camera on demand (for example while towing or manoeuvring slowly), the adaptor allows independent power so the image can be displayed without engaging reverse gear.
