7-inch monitor display for reversing cameras – MON705

The MON705 vehicle display is a 3-channel monitor that provides a clear view of up to three rear-view, reversing, or auxiliary cameras. It is the most popular size (7 inches). A heavy-duty dash-mount display is particularly popular on motorhomes, vans, agricultural and commercial vehicles, where a more robust monitor with a larger casing is preferred. A removable sunshade is supplied as standard to reduce glare on the screen in sunny conditions. The monitor supports optional on-screen guidelines and is compatible with 12V and 24V vehicles, making it suitable for cars, vans, motorhomes, HGVs, and LGVs.

Heavy-Duty Dash Monitor Design

The MON705 uses a more substantial housing compared to slimline dash monitors. This makes it a popular choice for commercial vehicles, plant, agricultural machinery and motorhomes where durability and stability are important. The supplied mounting bracket allows secure installation on dashboards or flat surfaces.

3x 4-Pin Channel Inputs

The monitor is supplied with a fly lead that connects to a 200 cm wiring harness. This harness provides three 4-pin aviation camera inputs, three separate channel trigger wires and a fused DC power socket. A red/black hardwiring power lead is supplied as standard. Optional lighter plug and fuse tap power leads can be selected using the drop-down menu.

Automatic Screen Dimming via Built-In Light Sensor

The MON705 is equipped with an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light levels. When driving through tunnels or at night, the monitor dims to reduce glare and distraction, then increases brightness again in daylight.

Suitable for 12V & 24V Vehicles

Whether fitted to a car, van or motorhome, or installed in a larger HGV or commercial vehicle, the monitor will automatically detect the supplied voltage. It safely regulates the output to 12V for the connected cameras, protecting them even when the vehicle supply is 24V.
